• Adverse events due to the preparation
• Drug induce (allergy, local thrombosis, respiratory depression)
• Hypoxia
• Pnemonia, pulmonary aspiration
• Cardiac dysrhythmias

• Bleeding

Rarely: Trauma of splena, acute appendicitis, impaction of the instrument in a hernia.
